Happy Sunday! I hope that your week has been a good one! Mine has been pretty busy with work and responsibilities at home. I finished sewing the backing to my Neptune quilt and will be ready to mail it off to be quilted! Approximately six months ago I made trade with my friend Wendi. Wendi blogs at prsd4tim2. I had a go cutter and an amazing amount of dies, but rarely used it. Wendi has wanted one so we struck a deal. I traded my GoCutter and dies for labor. Wendi's part of the deal is to create four quilt tops using my patterns and fabrics for me. I rarely sew for myself so the quilt tops that she makes are spectacular treats for my home! The Neptune quilt top is made made by Wendi with the Snow Globe Pattern from Tula Pink! I just have to sew the backings! I will treasure the quilts not only because she made them, but because I also dug into my stash and picked favorite fabrics.
Today's Sunday Stash is a collection of two fat eighth bundles and one fat quarter bundle. I find myself drawn to fat eighth bundles because I love scrappiness in my projects and little bits! Scrumptious by Bonnie & Camille for Moda fabrics is gorgeous, along with the cuteness of Bluebird Park by Kate & Birdie Paper Company for Moda Fabrics. My fat quarter bundle is Riley Blake's Sweetcakes to add to my Red, Pink and Aqua stash! Yummy fabrics!
The picture below is a side snap of the three bundles of fabrics!
I wanted to end my blog post with a plaque that hangs on my living room wall. I purchased it on Etsy as inspiration for everyday. Sometimes things happen that just don't make sense.
Have a Happy Sunday and Happy Quilting!
