Happy Sunday! I hope that your week has been productive! This is the end of month at work, so I did a lot of travelling around this week to be able to meet my sales goals. Fridays always seem to leave me pretty tired. I drive between 750 to 1500 miles each week for work. The weekends are always filled with household chores, spending time with my sons and finding a few hours of quiet time to sew. Sewing keeps me grounded and gives me an opportunity to be creative!
I made two Bee Blocks this weekend for the Munki in the Middle Bee on Flickr. The Scrappy Churn Dash Blocks below are for Kirstya. She requested bright Churn Dashes with low volume and text backgrounds. One of the fun things about this Bee is being able to fussy cut some of my Heather Ross fabrics to personalize the blocks. My blog sponsors a monthly swap on Flickr called Monthly Fabric Swap Group (MFSG). I love this group because it was created to swap fabric, notion items and candy! All of my favorites! This month I received a special package from Deanna. As you can see the fabrics are beautiful and my favorite caramels were in the package! Deanna included a really nice note along with a fun notepad and notions. The sign ups for the October Swap are open in the Flickr Group and all are welcome. To participate you must have an active Flickr account. This is an International swap. Monthly Fabric Swap Group is a very relaxed group. You can participate for a month or several months, it is entirely up to you!
The rest of the evening will be dedicated to sending out partner assignments for the Fabric Basket Swap Round Two on Flickr. There are 36 participants for this round. The girls will be making fabric baskets and filling them with goodies for their partners! Next week will be another busy work week! How has your week been? Were you able to accomplish much? I hope that you have a good week ahead of you! Have a Happy Sunday and Happy Quilting!
