Sew Sew Modern Ready to Mail!

Happy Saturday! I hope that all is well with you. The past few weeks have been very busy with work and getting adjusted to my new territory. I had joined a swap on Flickr many months ago called "Sew Sew Modern." My partner is someone that I have frequent contact with through the mail, and she doesn't know that she is receiving from me! Her package will be filled with a handmade tote bag, a tissue holder, a zipper pouch, a chicken pin cushion and some notion items. 

This is the first tote bag that I have made and there are a few minor imperfections.   

I did learn along the way that I should have left an opening on the bottom of the lining when I turned the bag right side out. It probably would have been easier than on the seam line that I used where the handles are located...Hopefully, she will like it! For the rest of the weekend, I am binding a mug rug for a group called "Rugs with Friends," working on Bee Blocks and getting ready for the new work week!
