Friendship Bag Swap, Ready to Mail!

Happy Sunday! I hope that your week was a lot of fun! This past week was pretty hectic and the weekend has been pretty busy also! Today is laundry day and we will be having Sunday dinner with my older son this afternoon. I finished my Friendship Bag for my partner in the Friendship Bag Swap on Flickr. This is a pretty neat swap to participate in. The swap is based on Rachel Griffith's Friendship Bag Tutorial. Some of the basics of this swap allows your partner to choose a color scheme and suggest some goodies that they would like to receive. The picture below is my finished bag.
The goodies that will mail in the bag are comprised of a yummy packet of scraps, a hand-cut four inch charm pack of pink and green fabrics, a pocket tissue holder, one Sundance Quilt Pattern and a roll of Superior King Tut thread!
Hopefully, she will love receiving this really cool Friendship Bag, filled with so many goodies! This package will go out in the mail in about a week!
My mug rug for Rugs with Friends went out in the mail last week. This mug rug is bright and cheerful and should brighten up my partners spring time! I hope that she will like it!
Well, I better run for now. My goal is to finish three more Bee Blocks today and get the housework done! Have a very Happy and Pink filled Sunday! Enjoy your day and Happy Quilting!

Love the pink and green. I see you also use Villa Rosa Design patterns. I just finished piecing two tops, one "Wistful" and the other "Midnight Blue".

Very sweet. I have also used Rachel's friendship bag tutorial, and directed other people to it. It's a fun little tote and for me was an easy introduction to being less scared of making tote bags (I used to find it overwhelming!).
