Happy Saturday! I hope that all has been well with you! The past ten days have been a bit of a blur due to my work schedule. I apologize for not blogging, but I have just been very tired.
This weekend the weather is cold and rainy. It is a perfect weekend to sew and get caught up on housework! I am a bit behind on some of my Bee blocks that were due to be mailed out, so I will be working on them this weekend.

I love Springtime!! Everything seems new and fresh... The air is clear and warm during the daytime, and yet still crisp and cool at night... The fire flies begin to put on their show at dark.. and the bluebirds lay their eggs. Before long, we'll be hearing the baby birds chirping for their Mama to bring them a worm! :-)

My favorite thing about spring is new mulch! It always ends up being a lot of work, but I love seeing fresh flower beds looking renewed. A HUGE load of mulch was just delivered to my house last week...looks like no sewing for awhile!

Our house is surrounded by woods so looking out the window can be pretty bleak in the winter. When spring comes, the trees and flowers return and everything is a beautiful green and throbbing with the songs of birds. My favorite thing about spring is the bright green color of the new leaves.

The best thing for me about spring is that tax preparation require me to get organized. I enjoy the freedom when I'm done with the paperwork and have the files set up for the current year!

I totally understand the feeling tired. I've been dealing with that for the past few months nd keep hoping it will go away soon.

Spring brings new to the world with all the beautiful green growth in the grass and always puts me into the mood to clean my house, or at least to begin organizing different areas in my home. Plus the best part about Springtime is when all my beautiful lilac bushes bloom and we can open our windows (if those cold temps will go away) and the smell of those wonderful lilacs fill the inside of our home.

i love GREEN outdoors. i love the green wheat just coming up. green leaves peeking out of branches. green shoots coming out of the ground. the grass becoming bright green and thick.
then THIS spring, my son gets his masters degree. can't wait for graduation.
The first hints of spring in our area include blooming of red bud trees, dogwoods, and early azaleas. I love to see these. Right now we are smelling magnolia blossoms.

My favorite thing about spring is lilacs blooming. They don't grow here in Florida, but it so happens that they were in bloom when I was in SLC this past weekend to attend the blessing of my new grandson and DD has some growing in her front yard! It was wonderful! A real treat!

i love spring...the birds come back for summer...we live on a fly way hence many species migrate through our skies...the trumpeter swans are usually the first to arrive...often times before the ice has left the river...followed by the geese in large flocks...now the pelicans( white non breeders) are here...the sparrows, robins and juncos are also home for summer...yea!!1
