Blue - especially true, royal blue - like Hoffman's 1985 "Waikiki" - my favorite fabric (have about 7 yards, half pegged for a project).

There used to be colors that I loved, and colors that I hated. Bright, clean colors, like the ones in a box of eight crayolas always land in the like column. All of the others...I've learned that there is a place for them too. It is all good. It is a matter of finding what colors they play well with.
Picking just one color is rather hard, but I think I'd have to choose blue. Good rich blues are just beautiful.
